GIANYAR TOUR

Gianyar is a regency (kabupaten) in the Indonesian province and island of Bali, Indonesia. The regency is divided into seven districts (kecamatan; Sukawati, Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Tampaksiring, Ubud, Tegallalang, Payangan)


1. Samuan Tiga



Around the 10th century, a sacred meeting of three prominent Hindu’s priests, Brahmanisme, Waisnawa and Shiwaisme, once took place in the temple. The meeting somehow resulted in a formulation of a guidance for physical construction of three praying houses (Kahyangan Tiga) at every Pekraman in Bali.

2. Goa Gajah

The eleventh century cave built on the hillside is one major tourist attraction close to Ubud-Gianyar road. Besides the cave which is the key attraction, the traditional bathing pool and a number of ancient stone relics fulfill the curiosity for some mystical experience.


3. Ubud

Ubud besides the beautiful nature, this area is also a village with a rich cultural heritage of great artists, especially the famous painter. With a height of about 300 meters above sea level, Ubud has a cooler air from the plains region south of the original Balinese. Village of Ubud has a population of about 9800 inhabitants. With an unspoiled environment, this area is a popular source of inspiration for artists, including artists overseas, mainly European artists.

4. Ayung River


Ayung River in Ubud is one of the most challenging white water rafting sites in Bali, and suitable for you if you are looking for a adrenaline rush in outdoor activity. It has medium track with a rapid level of 2-3 for most of the parts. With 12 kilometers distance of rafting track, it can be quite challenging to conquer the fun filled rapids within 2 hours.

Ayung Rafting Ubud is also known as one of the best white water rafting with spectacular view of unspoiled rainforest and wildlife (such as beautiful Blue Javan Kingfisher), including rice fields, magnificent (hidden) waterfall and amazing stone carving on some area of the river walls. With only 1.5 hours approximately from Kuta, you can enjoy this magnificent adventurous river in Ubud.

However, it is not recommended for small children and elderly due to the long stairways which require efforts and some strong legs to get to the starting point in the river from the lobby area, and vice verca


5. Bali Safari & Marine Park


Bali Safari and Marine Park, or Taman Safari III is a branch of Taman Safari located in Gianyar, Bali. Other than the name suggests, it is not a real Safari, but an open Zoo with imported animals from different Continental.

6.Tegenungan Waterfall


Tegenungan Waterfall located at sacred river of Petanu River, Tegenungan Village south part of Kemenuh Village. It's about 20 minutes drive after to visit Puseh Batuan Temple. This is one of waterfall in Bali that are fun to visit. There are many steps go down to the river if you would like to see te watefall closer. Waterfalls are sharp drops along the course of a river, actually it's a very nice place to stay because green and nature plantation surrounding

7. Bali Bird Park


Bali Bird Park (Indonesian: Taman Burung Bali), is a tourist attraction in Bali, Indonesia. It is located at the Gianyar Regency and has an area of 2,000 square metres (0.49 acres). The Bird Park houses more than 1.000 birds representing more than 250 species in an enclosed aviary. Bali Bird Park aims to be a “Centre of Excellence” for the breeding of Birds of Paradise and Bali Starling. There are a lot of birds breeding in the park simultaneously all the year round.

The park has been landscaped to create natural habitats. Incorporates a diverse botanical collection. Features 52 different species of palms, rare jungle fruit trees, cycads, bamboos and cactus. There are 3 lakes hosting various species of water birds. A total of 60 bird enclosures with habitats to house the collection

8.Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon



Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang is a tourist spot that presents the beauty and sturdiness of a rocky cliff that has a height of approximately 20-30 meters. Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang is located in  Guwang, Sukawati.

9. Sukawati Art Market



Sukawati Art Market, referred to locally as 'Pasar Seni Sukawati', is Bali’s most distinguished and long-standing art market. It is where visitors can seek and purchase distinctively Balinese art items such as paintings and sculpted wooden figures, curios, handicrafts and traditional handmade products
